Soooooooo…. It’s 7am and I am stood in my kitchen with my faithful cat Huckle with me on the opposite kitchen counter watching my every move!! If he were a person he would be sat watching my every move and probably thinking..”what the hell is this woman doing!!!!!” Sooooooooo…what was I doing…I was making a beautiful art display of all the food I will be consuming today! I need to prep each morning as my day is so busy….meditation…yoga….emails….house chores….and this all before 9. |

Well peeps, It is official......Charlie has started teaching at our new yoga space and the feedback has been truly wonderful! I think his simply and very explaining manner and style of teaching makes is less complicated to newbies...not that yoga is complicated..we are only as complicated as we make things and our lives and anything we do in it! But the space is breathtaking and so it is not hard to let all the noise in your head just slip away. We are extremely excited to see our business grow and to allow more people aware of the benefits of yoga and natural healing and whole food living. |

Ok folks...
So two months this week that I have not been in hospital for treatment, been on any treatment of any kind or been in the ER with an attack!!
The heart specialist called me and was very surprised that my last echo cardiogram showed three of my four heart defects were gone!! One of which was a VSD and one of the most serious defects to have that require major heart surgery to repair.
The doctors went into my pancrius two months ago and not only was there no cancer as two specialist thought due to the course of my on going pancrititus, but everything was clear. |

Was at the self check out today and one of the girls who worked there packed up my groceries and told me she bought a juicer. On numerous shopping trips, she rung up my pile of groceries, wondering what I was doing with so many veggies!!! I told her My story of juicing, my 11 days, my trying to juice daily, my boys starting to juice and juicing for me, my wife healing herself through juicing, reiki and clean living. She told me she watched the movie Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead and got a juicer. I wish I was in my 20s and was turned on to juicing. I feel it is never to late to start juicing!!! It starts with a message, be it in person buying groceries or on the web in my blog; try juicing or just try fresh juice from a store ( i can tell you where i go) and see how you feel. check out your mood, ask your friends if they see a difference. be the difference you want to see in the world and let it start with the way to see good food and juice, (thanks Gandhi) sat nam, wahe guru ~ Charlie

Ok peeps, So I been asked a lot recently by people how is it that I look in my early 20's, when I am soon turning 40, especially given that I have been incredibly ill the last few years!
Aside from VERY good genetics...thanks to my fathers side...my mother taught me to use sunscreen everyday...very early on and then the last 12 months my incredibly strict and healthy diet has not only enabled me to lose 30 lbs without exercise, but to have that glow and vitality that younger people have.
Becoming a vegetarian 100% and vegan 80% of the time and cutting out all white sugars, white grains, wheat and gluten has all had profound effects on my overall health and mood. |

Well dear readers......two and half weeks into my Gerson Therapy and I cannot believe the transformation that has already taken place!!
My headaches have gone, my joint pain, back and sciatica pain, my nuropathy, my blind spot in my left eye, my energy is back, my anxiety nearly gone, I have energy to the point I have to go walk for an hour around the lake and everyone is commenting on how well I look and how much weight I have lost...12lbs so far. I have had NO pancreatic pain or gall bladder pain after drinking fluids or eating. |

As I just opened up my blog page to write this I just realized that today is such an important day in so many ways! Not only is it the first day of me starting the Gerson therapy strictly but also today is the two year anniversary of the death of my beloved mother..Jean Anne Bern. An even more bizarre is that is is also to the hour and minute that doctors took her off life support and she finally passed an hour later at 1pm....I write this at 7am US time so in the UK it is 12pm.
So I dedicate this post to my mother whom, would have still been here today I believe had I discovered the Gerson Therapy sooner! |

Day 10 of my juice fast!!! I have not eaten solid food since I had oatmeal Wednesday night, the night before thanksgiving!!!! I did not eat thanksgiving dinner even though Debs and I made dinner for my kids, my mom & brother & his gf. I survived the kids eating Colony Pizza and the homemade french fries!!! I get tempted to eat bean sprouts and cucumbers, wtf? I gave up coffee on day two of the fast. I've given up caffeine and have more energy then when i went to Starbucks four times a day! |

So....first day of December and I am so looking forwards to Christmas this year with my new husband and step sons! Also with the new year coming up, as with most of us we are already thinking about New Years resolutions and the usual promises to ourselves which generally involves getting fitter....giving up smoking and joining the gym!
For me...health is top priority right now and after ten hospital visits in the last year alone, my new years resolution is to not visit the hospital again...EVER!!
OK. |
